Welcome to Lowgates FC.

The original Lowgates site was set up by dynamic midfielder Simon Foster in June 2002 with additional content provided by top goalscorer Lee Tagg, since then its been through various stages to become what you are seeing today. Today content is provided by Bert with help from Taggwa in Berts absence, site design by Foz.

Lowgates Sports were formed over 20 years ago and have mainly played their football in the middle divisions of the Chesterfield Sunday League. Season 2001/02 was a successful one as we finished the season with 11 wins in our last 13 games to gain promotion from Division Six. Unfortunately a few poor seasons has seen us take up shelter in Division 8 at the moment. Hopefully this season we can

 re-create the successful run we had not so long ago!

The aim of this site is to keep you informed of all things Lowgates and maybe have a chuckle along the way as we aim to keep it as light hearted as possible. Please take anything written about you or your team in the spirit it was written as there is certainly no intention to offend.
