Pitch Inspection

Due to the heavy rain, Mick will be inspecting the Lowgates pitch on Saturday afternoon to see if the game still has a chance of going ahead on Sunday or if it can be called off at an early stage to save people a wasted journey.

Details of the inspection will be put on this site and if the game is called off we'll try and contact as many players by text too.

22nd August 2008 - Lowgates Gain Promotion Before Season Starts.

Lowgates have gained promotion to Division 7, even before the first official match of the season has been played. This was annouced by Mick after he attended a football league meeting whereby he was informed we have been moved in the division above. Lets see if we can make it two prmotions in one season and jump upto 6 through our own efforts. Now that id like to see!

13th August 2008 - Match Fixture Change

Everyone please note the fixture for this weeks friendly on the 17th August is now to be played at Home on Lowgates pitch. Coalite had double booked their ground and so asked us to change venue as it was originally at their ground. As usual 10am meet at the home ground.

8th August 2008 - A Good 'Friendly' Start

A promising start to the season saw us draw 2 - 2 with Brampton Royal Oak - with a full sqaud and also subs lets hope we can carry this forward. No match report as yet, im not sure there was anyone there sober enough to take note! Good start guys.
